- System preparation: Set up, configure, and verify all VAR, MSR, and SAOT system components prior to each match to ensure full operational readiness
- Live technical monitoring: Monitor system performance during live matches, including video feeds, network stability, and replay system functionality
- Match operations support: Provide real-time technical support to replay operators and match officials, escalating issues when necessary
- Signal verification: Confirm the integrity of all incoming and outgoing broadcast signals and troubleshoot disruptions quickly
- Issue diagnosis: Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues under time pressure
- Documentation: Complete match logs, incident reports, and system performance summaries following Sportec’s operational standards
- Post-match review: Conduct system shutdown procedures, review technical performance, and report any anomalies or risks
- Technology testing: Participate in testing new VAR features, workflows, and system updates to support continuous improvement
- Collaboration: Work closely with replay operators, broadcast partners, and internal technical staff to ensure seamless match operations

- Experience with technical support, broadcast operations, or live sports technology preferred
- Strong knowledge of soccer rules and match events
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and accurately
- Comfortable working in high-pressure, real-time environments
- Availability for match schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel
- Ability to maintain accurate logs and follow standardized procedures
- Reliable high-speed internet and ability to work on-site in the centralized operations center
